Subject: RE: Cold A general rule of thumb is that if it's all above the neck, go ahead and work out. You'll want to decrease intensity and maybe distance as well, but you will feel better for a few hours after the exercise. If it's below the neck and in you chest, take off, no working out until it begins to clear. Also, if you have a fever, don't work out 'til it breaks. And in all cases, until you're back 100%, keep the intensity low, or you'll just make yourself sick again. |
