Has anyone done this race before and if so how would you rate it? I heard that it is a small race, but well organized.

3558 did it last year. Also, Daremo did the aquavelo. I only heard good things about it, but they can tell you more.

Flat and fast for sure! I haven't done this race specifically but I know the area and have been out on the course. I've heard stories about jellyfish/nettles being a possibility in some years. The race organizers are well experienced and first class.

Run is spectator friendly because its a short out and back multiple times. If I'm not mistaken the swim is point to point, which makes wind/current a factor (tidal river).Run by the same folks who do Eagleman, Columbia, etc... so despite Chessieman smaller size they know exactly what they're doing.FLAT. FLAT. FLAT.
