Regular  80  Indiana |  Subject: Narrowed it downOkay, I think I've narrowed down my bike options so if anyone has this bike or knows anything about it, I am open to comments. These are beginning bikes for me and are in my price range. If I show my husband I'm serious then maybe we can upgrade at a later time. Also, if I've overlooked a bike please let me know. Elite 2443 Athens, Georgia | Subject: RE: Narrowed it down Just offering my .02 here. First I agree that you will have better name recognition and resale with the Trek. Also the group set is a little better than the Giant's and Trek has great customer service but I have never dealt with Giant or Bikes Direct. Comperable prices slightly better product edge to the Trek. Now you have to ride them and see how they fit you. That is what you will hear a lot but you will perform much better on an inferior bike with a good fit than you will vice versa. Good luck and enjoy whichever new bike you pick. |
