So if you do want something sweet, you can spend 50-100 calories on it rather than 500? Play a mental game - tell yourself anything you can to keep from diving into the sweets. Remember your goals whatever they may be. Take a walk at work. I work in a large building so I can walk around the building. Drink some tea. Mint tea and green tea are both good at supressing appetites.
