Subject: RE: Sprint TrainingIn line with the above poster. Maybe do a winterizer/base builder for a month or two, and then 15-20 weeks before do a more sprint/triathlon (focusing on your weakest point..say the "bike focused" plan? ) which will peak you right before your next sprint.
The other question is...will your sprint in March/April be your A-race? a B-Race? If its a B or C race..then just train right through it and set your training for your A-race later in the spring/summer.
The key is to not peak too early. Use your time now to build your bike base/build muscle strength/work on form and different things, etc. |
