Anyone doing the Lame Duck Tri in Georgetown KY?

yes I have never done it before so I do not know what to expect.

I did it last year! I had so much fun! it's a small race so if you are new to racing this is a great race to get involved.

The swim last year was a non wetsuit, the water was pretty warm. It was a one way swim so you took a boat to the start and swam back to transition.

The bike is HILLY!! and thats coming form someone who lives and trains in Colorado so trust me it is really really HILLY!!

The run is pretty hilly too and goes a long some of the bike course!

Overall GREAT RACE!

I wish I could do it againt his year or atleast come help out, but unfortunately I wont be in town until the end of Aug for IM Louisville.

I Highly recommend this race!!

I did this race in 2006 when it was really small. I'll second it being a hilly course. Don't underestimate the distances, the bike and run are tough. Especially right out of transition.

Gonna be there and looking forward to it.
