I ride at Babler park often.  I have a pattern I ride so I can hit each hill once.  The pattern takes me in all direcations.  I have noticed that others there almost always ride in a counter clockwise pattern.  Not sure how the beast comes into the pattern.

Is there any safety etiquette at Babler?  I actually worry a lot more about crashing into another cyclist than a car.

Most people go clockwise...enter the park go right and either go on the outer loop or the inner loop and repeat.  The Beast is where the outer loop connects with the inner loop.

I believe if you go into the park and go right that is counter clockwise.  This is the direction I notice most people ride.  I have been riding there for years but I usually ride late.  8:00 pm - 9:15 pm and there is rarely anyone there.  So I started doing my own patern.

I rode on July 3rd and could not believe the crowd.  There were tons of people riding.  But almost everyone was riding counter clockwise.   If you only ride counter clockwise then you miss doing one of the major hills.  The pattern I do has me do all the hills.  Plus I have a time I can always be trying to beat.

I finally went there today.  I found that I walk uphill fairly good and that it will take some practice time before I return.
