Without opening anyone up to public embarrassment, does anyone have any information regarding heavy sweating and the particular color of your Tri shorts?  Or... How that sweating looks/affects the color of your shorts?

I know black is relatively safe, and I could imagine that White could potentially look pretty interesting on some people.

What about blues, grays, reds, etc.

I would imagine that it's like most other technical wear and doesn't show a lot of sweat.  However, I have a  strong dislike for white shorts period.  I just don't like them.  On anyone.  Personal opinion though...

I only have black ones because they go with everything - but I would definitely buy blue as well.

Waiting to see the pic again of the cycling team with the red shorts... They're completely wrong even without the sweat.

LOL - I know exactly the pic you are talking about! *shudder* It's not good Surprised

For the OP, other colors shouldn't be a problem as long as they are reasonably high-quality shorts (i.e. not K-mart lycra jams or whatever).  I have come to like DeSoto shorts in particular, and the colored ones I use have an additional layer of fabric (mesh or lycra) that covers up the rest of the front where "exposure" may otherwise be an issue.

I'm a heavy sweater, and my tri shorts get soaked on runs - happy to report there are no obscenity problems (that I'm aware of!!).

But never any white for me though, at least not in the front and back.

Cheers, Chris
