Subject: Who wants to do Sri in Victoria Aug 2?
So ... I am registered for Sri Chinmoy/Self Transcendence Olympic distance triathlon here at Elk Lake on Aug 2 ... and cannot do it because of this stupid back injury. Stupid.

Anyone want my entry? It's transferrable - and it's all yours! PM me if you do, with your email address, and I'll email you the form you need to fill out.
It's a great race, and their 30th anniversary this year too so going to be quite the partay.

I felt sorry no one was responding to your posts. Do you think it's ironic that a yoga instructor has a back injury?

Hey TR...

I'm thinking I could do a part of the event.. but having ever only competed in 1 sprint event (early July), I don't think I'm ready to take on an Olympic event solo... simply haven't had the necessary time or post work energy to train up to this level in the space of the month of July...

Nope - cuz the injury is not from yoga - in fact yoga's saved me from some more serious problems ... this is actually a residual injury from when I broke my hip when I was 19. ;-)
