Does anyone use an electric massager for daily therapy or after runs? I'm having some shin splint issues, went to see a physical therapist who determined I wasn't streching enough - my legs were extremely tight! I've been doing the streching for a couple of weeks now and see some improvement in the pain but wanted to see if there is anything more I could do. Do those electric massagers they sell help or are they just a waste of time? Do you use one? What brand/model do you use? Thanks!

Believe it on not I bought one at the grocery store and it works fine. I don't use it every day, but when my IT bands, hamstrings, or calves feel tight I go to work on them with the massager before I use a foam roller. Previously when I just used the roller they took several sessions to loosen up. It's faster with the massager. I use this one. I think I paid $40.
For sure. I have the Back XTC model. It has 3 different types of massage pads, and has 6 speeds. I use it on my back, neck, hamstrings, calves. Awesome tool for the triathlete.
