Subject: RE: Diagnostic arthroscopy of kneeYes, I had it done. I was having pain in the back of my calf where it attachs up behind the knee. I went through a round of physical therapy, an x-ray and a MRI. Nothing. Doc said let's "scope it" and see what we find. During the scope he found nothing that he thought would cause my pain, but he did fix a little "rough" spot while he was in. Recovery consisted of another round of physical therapy for a couple weeks and then back to training. Still hurt. I ended up discovering that all I ever needed was to strenghten my calves after I injured it once weight lifting. Within 2 weeks I felt great and started training for a half marathon. By the way, it was two years that I couldn't run while I was going through all this! |
