Subject: shoe fitting?
Hey guys, I was just wondering how should a triathlon cycling shoe fit?  I did some research and some people prefer to have a little room, enough to curl the toes. and others say that you should not be able to curl your toes at all.  So i was just wonderin what is the ideal, what size shoes do you normally wear, and then then the size of your cycling shoes....would appreciate any input...

Cycling shoes and running shoes don't translate well size wise.  I wear a 10.5 running shoe and 43 - 44 cycle shoe depending on the make.

x2, if you are thinking of buying online, find a store that carries that shoe, try them on and find out your size, then order it online if they are cheaper.

Just like every other shoe, the sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Most cycling shoes are measured by European sizes.

A cycling shoe should fit snug but not tight.  You don't want anything moving around in the shoe.  Any movement is a loss of power and efficiency.
