Hello from Rutherford NJ

Hi everybody,

I would like to de-lurk. I've been reading these forums for a couple of months for inspiration and I am always impressed by the level of support from everyone.
I am 35 with a 9 month old son. I have been meaning to do a triathlon since high school, and my wife finally told me that being a weenie for 17 years is a tad too long and she is tired of me talking the talk and wants to see me walk the walk (or in this case run the run). I have been trying to train regularly, but this ungodly winter has been hampering my efforts (actually I'm lazy and in self-denial). I am planning doing the Hudson Valley Olympic tri in July. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know any good sources of training partners? or any clubs in bergen County in NJ?
