Tri America race in Zion or Pleasant Prairie?

Elite Veteran  610   chicago area |  Subject: Tri America race in Zion or Pleasant Prairie?They are both on August 21st. Never did a Tri America race, but I really like Pleasant Prairie. I'm doing Danskin at Pleasant Prairie in July. The swim for Zion is in Lake Michigan- the only drawback. Pleasant Prairie cost- about 90 bucks! Zion, Tri America- 60 bucks. Can anyone help me out? |

I am doing Waukegan end of July, and am not really looking forward to the swim. Are you doing that race too? I have Chicago Accenture the following week, so I don't think I'll be doing either of those races.

I may volunteer for that race, considering I live about 5 minutes from the venue. I didn't sign up because I might be out of town that weekend. Good luck!
