The Navy has extended its public comment period about the underwater sonar training range until January 30th, in the face of overwhelming public and political pressure. EVERYONE weighed in. YAY!!! Margaret Mead was right and reason prevailed.

For those who don't know what in the he!! I'm talking about, see previous threads. I'll try to find it. They were trying to do this thing without doing their homework about impacts to the marine life and the local economy that depends on that marine life and that water. We called them on it and IT WORKED.

Holy crap, am I tired.  But Renee, I still got in the pool tonight......

Yup, but now we have time to get our experts on board, our messages clear and consistent and just generally take a breather.

And I am gonna go diving, then lay in a hammock and drink a beer or two. Ahhhhhh.....
