Subject: oh to be off work for today
Not to make you all jealous, but LA is experiencing *summer beach weather if you can believe it. Not that that means much to me, since I've had my booty parked at my desk for almost 8 hours, doing much of nothing, except for looking out the window and wishing I could go for a run. It could be worse, I know, but I get frustrated when I don't have actual work to do (my boss is slacking, so there's been a break in the chain there) so the day goes by slooow, and when I think of all of the actual productive and enjoyable things I could be doing with my time..alas

Not much sympathy here. We had about 13" of snow here in MD over the weekend. Here's what my pastures looked like.

mcarla, I know what you mean.  It's a beautiful day outside today (and yesterday), 55 now warming up to 75, and I'm stuck inside with a boring job...gosh how I would love to go for a bike ride!  If I only had more vacation days...

 

rowdypaint it looks awesome there!!!  Yep, sometimes I miss the snow but not so much the below zero weather.
