Don't know how much code it would take to accomplish this, but I would love to see a "smoothie" or "blended food" option in the nutrition logs that when selected let you pick what ingredients and quantities were put into a smoothie, then just have it total up all the nutritional info for those ingredients and lump it together as one food item.

Actually it would make adding other home cooked foods easier too, which we don't know the total nutrition of, but could just throw the ingredients into the form and let it figure out what's in it.

I think we can do what your proposing already.  Try this:

When you want to 'create' a smoothie or other recipe, start off with a NEW meal (no other ingrediants).  Select all the ingrediants and quantities that go into a 'serving' or 'meal' of that smoothie.  Once you have everything in as a meal, click 'Save as Custom Meal' - it will lump everything together and let you give it a name.  That 'custom meal' will no be available in the custom food dropdown.

your right, that does work.  Thanks.

Another question, I see it is somehow possible to log water consumption, but didn't find how.  Is "water" just another food listed or is there a simpler way I'm missing?

Yes, it is another food.  Try searching for 'water.'  Along with logging 'water' as a food, total water in reports and graphs will ALSO include the water present in your other foods according to the USDA values.
