just checking out the Compact Crank. Setting up for IM lou. (lots of hills) I switched from 11-23 cassette to 11-28. What set up did you run with the Compact crank? I moved from Chicago to Middle Tennessee...the shipping should still be ok.

Sorry, the compact crank sold before you got a chance to reply.

But to answer the question. I normally rode it with an 11-25 on the back, but would occasionally but on the 12-28 from another bike if I though I would need that extra gear. The 34/28 would probably be well suited for middle Tennessee, I have ridden around Chattanooga and it's not what I would call flat.
