Just wanted to share. Daughter and I went to the local range last night -- had to go to the second session, as the first session filled early. And no, she's never seen nor read The Hunger Games (though the folks at the range say that since that movie came out, attendance has doubled). This was our third time at the range, and I haven't done this since... Well, it's been a while.

I'm just glad she has something "active" that she likes to do...

That's great...archery is such a cool sport for kids!  My 2- and 4-yr olds can't pull back a real bow yet...but anytime I drag my target bag out to the backyard, they race to grab their "marshmellow shooter" bow and join me.  Every time they ask how big they have to be before they can have a "grown-up" bow...it's awesome.

Thanks for posting!  Sounds like you're enjoying the time with your daughter.

How cool - I wish we had an archery range around here.  I was never good at sports (I liked them, just stunk at them) but I always won awards at camp for archery and rifelry.  We bought my kids a bow last year.  They just shoot at a stuffed bag type target my husband bought but they love it.
