Subject: Gold standard method of focusing my training. I am looking at where I can make the biggest gains. And what I've done is taken an approx world or Olympic gold standard and subtracted that from my time to see how much I "could" gain. So using 15 min for the swim, 50 min bike, 30 min run, I find that I am off by 15 min in the swim, 20 min in the bike, and 17 min in the run. If I assume 5 min for aero bike gear, then it makes the most sense for me to focus on my run. Does this strategy make sense? |
