Swim
Comments: Got a severe calf cramp 10yds. into swim. I had to stop twice to stretch it out. Couldn't kick most of swim. I'm usually in top three out in my wave. 45-49's were the 7th wave, lots of people to swim around. Transition 1
Comments: Not a bad T1 Bike
Comments: OK bike. Road a little rough. Good steady med/hard pace. Transition 2
Comments: Pretty good T2. Run
Comments: Calfs were cramping. Pace very slow. I didn't expect run to be very good with achilles injury in May & lack of run training. What would you do differently?: Need to run more consistently. Post race
Warm down: Bagels, gatorade, shower. What limited your ability to perform faster: Cramps & lack of run training/miles. Event comments: Good first tri of season. An eye opener. I need more run training & more power on the swim. I'll make sure I eat a banana(potassium) & hopefully prevent cramping in the future. Last updated: 2006-06-01 12:00 AM
