is it just me, or does it seem like we're seeing more and more of these? seems like the case in the twin cities, anyway? how about in other areas?

this was a college student, 20 years old, hit by a truck on campus. i used to ride through that intersection every day when i worked at there.

That is terrible. Especially on a campus road, where drivers should be more aware of pedestrians. Or at least thats how it is at every campus I've been to.

So sad for the family.

any campus is going to have kids on bikes. there are also bike paths, as well as bike and pedestrian crossing signs, everywhere on that campus. one of the most popular bike routes in minneapolis/st. paul, the river roads, cut right between the two campuses. so sad, and also easily preventable.
