What sort of watch do you use that gives you all the neat readouts like max. speed, best mile pace etc.?

I use the Timex body link which uses GPS to track you and it has a HRM. I cannot say enough good things about it. No longer are you limited to a specific route, if you want some extra milage you can just a ride or run down any street.
