What would you do differently?: I forgot to take my inhaler beforehand, so breathing became tough. I will have more time to train for swimming next year. I only recently learned proper swim techniques. ![]() Transition 1

Comments: Ankles were bothering me. Then once my legs warmed up, my left foot felt like it fell asleep. For the entire last mile, I had to jog slowly or walk. Realized too late that the timing chip had become too tight and was cutting off the circulation to my foot. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Cheering, hugging family. Not enough stretching afterwards. Did pilates and yoga the next day. What limited your ability to perform faster: I don't have a road bike; I have a hybrid. Next year, I hope to get a road bike with tri-bars. I know that would help the bike time. Event comments: Last updated: 2004-08-18 12:00 AM

This was my first race, so I quite have a routine yet. It took me about 6 hours to pack the 10 things that I brought. Hopefully, I can narrow that down! :)
I rode my bike from the car to the transition area.
