i'm looking fwd. to buying a new road bike. i'm opting for a regular bike vs. a tri bike as the versatility will be more flexible to the hills i live near (and also, modifying tri parts to it i.e., forward seat post, ects, will make it fast enough for myself). however, when testing out a 56' frame, i felt it to be just a tad too large (i'm 5'10). there were no aero bars on it so i wasn't able to test out the position. wondering if anyone my height has used a 54' with success in the aero position?

I'm 5'10" and I ride a 54. Don't feel cramped at all. 56 is just a bit too big for me.

I haven't gotten my aero bars yet, but I am 5'10" and was fitted for a 54cm bike knowing I was riding for tris. I should get the aero bars at the end of the month. You will also have a lot of leeway with the seat. Min can be moved front and back about 4"
