Ok, so I just finished the Disco Duathlon...one thing I don't have a clue about. What do I do know?

I'm starving, what should I focus on? They had pizza at the race, had a slice, but didn't much feel like any more. Would a pizza for lunch be okay?

What are some things that would be best for my body right now?

I try to focus on protein after a hard workout/race. My personal favorite is a turkey sandwich wit avocado slices. But any protein rich meal will help with muscle recovery.

If it's not too late in the afternoon/morning, i like to have peanut butter oatmeal (sometimes i'll mix in rasins) it's yummy.

I finished a race about 8:30 this morning, just got home around noon (i placed, so waited for awards). Just finished a sub sandwhich from a local grocery store and some veggie root chips.

Later on i'll have a nice large protein shake.

I may still have my peanut butter oatmeal for dinner!

Last year, my tradition was to eat an entire Large Pepperoni Feast from Pizza King (1 lb pep, 1 lb cheese) - but Doc says my cholesterol is way too high (trig @ 300+).

So, I just have been eating just a little of everything, whatever I had in the house. My problem, after a race, I am so hungry, and I can never eat enough.
