Subject: Too much fun I've been an avid mountain biker and gym cardio junky for years. With the new year I decided I needed a new goal/challenge and started working towards an Olympic length tri. Pretty confident about the bike, its been years sice I ran know I can get myself into running shape no problem. I might actually drown during the swim, but I'm sure it will be fun. Since I started training and researching I have been bit by the tri bug hard. It is sooooo me. Something I can be totally consumed with - training, research, dreaming. What a great sport.
I love spinning at our gym. Most of the teachers really don't know how to ride but I have found one that is awesome. I take her class solely because it is a blast. Its icing that it happnes to be a great workout too. In looking at other people's logs I see lots of spinners who put in mileage for a spin class. How do you figure that out? I've only been able to guess.
Anybody who wants to make some money can make a speed/mileage sensor that can be temporarily put on the differnt spinning bikes and your heart rate monitor will pick up. Maybe its out there already.
