Subject: Grand Theft Auto IV
Anybody playing? Been playing it for a couple of hours. Cool graphics. Interesting game play. Doing all the nasty things you want to do in real life but would probably get you in jail. Stuck on one mission. Very frustrated.

Funny story...I wasn't able to get the game the day it came out, but the morning after I met a friend for breakfast. We finished breakfast at 7:30, and the Target next door opened at 8. I thought "I want to buy GTA IV" so my friend and I waited outside the doors for 30 minutes until the store opened.

We went in and purchased it. The clerk said "Weren't you the guy standing outside waiting on us to open so you could get this?" I said yeah, and he responded by saying "You know the game actually came out yesterday...you weren't out there all night, were you?"

It doesn't seem funny now that I wrote it, but it was hilarious at the time.

I'm a few sessions in so far. The graphics didn't really impress me too much initially, but have been growing on me pretty consistently. Once you start to notice all of the intricate details they have thrown in there it's really quite impressive.

What mission are you stuck on?

I'm loving it!  Taking a little break from it, though, as I tend to get too wrapped up in that kind of thing, and then don't get anything else done.

I had some trouble with some of the earlier missions, because I'd either get killed or arrested, and then lose the fancy weapon I needed to do the mission.  So then I'd have to spend time driving the taxi around, or running over people, to get the money to buy the weapon.

But as soon as I finished the train mission, the money started to roll in.

Was stuck on "Hung out to Dry" for a long long time. I got really close and was able to catch up with the van. Unfortunately my car blew up before I completed the mission. Ha ha. Bf came along and helped me with the mission.

I am up to "Do you have protection" now.

Oh, btw, I found out that you cannot shot Michelle. You would only freak her out. Ha ha..
