I'd think that epoxy is permanent.  You'll rip paint off with a 'big tug'

If it is a front mount computer you just wrap the wire around you front brake cable and then attach to the fork.  Sorry no pics I have a wireless garmin.

I've covered wires on the bottom of the chainstay and downtube with black electrical tape.  Also works for the back of a front fork.  No pics just yet. 

Get a container of zip ties, assorted sizes. You can sometimes find different colors, match your bike's color. Start from the sensor pickup and work towards the handlebar mount, then wrap the excess around a cable. Before cinching the cable ties taut, pull the cable tight. It may take you a few tries to get at 'clean' look. And time spent with your bike is always quality time, whether you're riding it or not.
