Subject: Local Race?
So I have been very lazy in getting signed up for any races, and when I went to register for the race I wanted to do (Jordanelle) it was full. My question for all you Utah Tri athletes is, do you know of any small local races going on this weekend (8/23/08) that I can still get signed up for? Any suggestions would be helpfull. Thanks.

Sorry, Can't help you out... the only other race I know of is Share-a-Smile in Orem, but they're full too....

There IS a race in Riverton Sat the 30th... registration deadline isn't until this Sunday...

Thanks for the information. I just may do that one despite being scheduled for an Oly the weekend after. Usually I am afraid of going back to back weekend races (mostly becuase I have never done it before), but this may be a good opportunity to try it.

The bike is a loop that is pretty much flat (one downhill followed by a short uphill---think small ravine), and the run looks pretty calm as well. I'll be there--hope to see some other BT'ers there as well.
