BT NC forum members, I am starting a new job that is based today on NCSU campus but is moving to RTP by year end. Any suggestions on apartments in the RTP area?

Thanks

It depends what you are looking for. I actually work weekends at the Apartments at Stonehenge in North Raleigh. It's a nice complex in a good area and you can walk to harris teeter and a variety of Restaurants. Also the complex has 3 pools, one of which is a 25 meter with two swimming lanes. I have done a lot of my training there since my townhome is about 5 minutes away. If you would like more info send me a PM. It is approx 15 minutes from NCSU and about 20 from RTP.

I might recommend getting a short term lease on an apartment near NCSU. Then you can plan better on where you want to go after the move to RTP.

If you're going to be on campus at NCSU you can probably be an affiliate member at the university rec center. Olympic size pool, track, and they just built a new club quality exercise area.

I have looked at apartments in southpoint and Brier creek. Anyone have a suggestion in that area?

From what I have found so far I can get space that is cheap per sq foot, or I can feel safe but I can't do both.
