Subject: Javelin Parma Crank type ??? ISIS???
Does anyone know what type of Bottom Bracket the Javelin Parma's that were on that deal are. A friend bought one and wants to put on a smaller crank arm. But cant find if its an ISIS or what type.

Any help would be appreciated. He's looking to go to 170's

I swapped out the crankarms on my wife's Parma.

Square-taper

I ordered some Bulletproof cranks because they were available shorter than 170 and they've worked well for her (she should ride more, but I can't tell her that).

Do you have a crank-puller?  They're about $15 on-line, maybe $20-25 at the LBS.

With one of these, it's about 5 minutes.  Without, much longer.  It was about 10 minutes to swap the crankarms, and about 5 minutes to put the new crankarms on the spindle.

Thanks, I passed that along. He said he looked for the cranks you mentioned but could not find them. You don't happen to have a link (otherwise I'll look Im sure I can find them).
