Subject: Specialized bike question

Hey,

Has anyone ever heard of a 2002/2003 Specialized bike by the name of A4?  It is blue with some red and yellow accenting it.  Anything anyone knows about this bike or if I am not down the right track, the help would be appreciated!!

Is this the Festina team replica? that would be ~1999/2000. Nice bike, but really stiff and meant for racing hard. I'd NOT buy one as an all-day bike, but would if a short crit were my intention.

Of course, does it fit?

Yes it is the Festina team replica.  A friend of mine bought one, jazzed it up a bit and used it for just a casual bike for a few years and now isn't using it.   As far as I know it does fit, but I haven't ridden it yet and we haven't talked prices.  I was looking for more information out on the web but haven't found anything and would really like to know what I am getting before I decide to buy it.

Specialized has an archive space on their home page. You can look back as far as 2002. I have the non Festina edition from 2003. I love the bike. It is stiff but with the addition of one of their "Zertz" seat posts you'll fall in love too. Low tech by today's standards but still a fine bike!
