I ordered some P2's yesterday (Lickton's Supply) and already today they contacted me saying they couldn't fill my order but would give me P3's at the same price.

I paid $39 each + $8 shipping.

From what I've read the P3's seem to be good tires too, but it's not always a given that the next generation of anything is better than the previous.

Well, if Michelin is to be believed, the 3's are lighter, have improved rolling resistance, 20% better straight line and cornering grip, and are more puncture resistant than the previous version - definitely worth checking out.

I've been very happy with my Pro3's. Nice grip and cornering. BTW...I got mine at ProBike at the beginning of summer for a stellar price - I paid $31.33 per tire, no tax, no shipping. I see they've gone up a bit in price, but it's still a good deal and I'll buy them again when I'm ready for new tires.
