I just came across this article. I don't know how it realy affects me at my level of competition, but it is intersting to see what happens with USAT.

I want to support the elites and the Olympic triathlon but this sounds like the right thing for a federation of age-groupers.

It makes sense. If age-groupers are paying for events, they should be getting the $$$ from said events to continue the program...NOT funding the USOC and the 300 or so elites.

I'm planning on joining later on to help draw more attention to my region. Every member counts when you live in the middle of nowhere.
