Subject: Xterra Wetsuit size question...for a tall guy.
Today I received an Xterra Vortex 3 John wetsuit and tried it on, although the size chart says that a large would fit me (6'4" 185) leaving it on for any period of time is real hell on my back, it fits me body around but seems short for my height.  Question is should I go with an XL wetsuit to replace it or should I go with a Medium long? 

Any other tall guys have the same problem?

I'm 6'2" with a disproportionately long torso and sport the XXL rather comfortably (at 227 pounds, though).

You should give them a call.  They were pretty helpful in nailing down the correct size for me.

I have considered purchasing a wetsuit offline but it sounds like the size charts aren't that reliable.

Would you agree?

I guess I should go to a shop where I can try it on.

I'm 175-180 lbs and 6' tall. The Medium Tall Xterra fits me perfect. at 6' 4", it would definitely be too short for you.
