Subject: scary stuff... Schwalbe ULTREMO “R” tyres
Ive been running these tyres for a few hundred km.. and boy are they fast.. (and look coool)

coming home this afternoon in Aero.. sitting around 38km/h and I get a horrible wobble starting to happen. Stopped and a big bulge is in the back tyre.. and it looks like the entire top of the tread is just disintegrating.. nice and sedate on the way home.. commuters on MTBs passing me (the shame.. hehe)

so yeah.. my tyres are in the bad batch by the looks.. have to email Schwalbe and get replacements sent for free (better than nothing I guess)

tyres didn't look any worse for wear on the inside..

but on a new pair of gatorskins today.. definately slower Cry

yeah I was thinking exactly the same.. will use the replacements at the end of august, which is my first Tri.
