Subject: RE: WTB Tri bike I am 6'2"JoshKaptur - 2009-07-22 7:53 AM Spend the $$ on a fitting -- otherwise it's a gamble and you can end up spending a lot more on a bike that will never be comfortable. +1000 on the value/importance of a good fitter! Bike sizes are not at all "standard" between manufacturers, particularly when the frame geometry changes. Having a given frame size in one bike brand/model works doesn't give you much more more than a starting point when looking at other bikes. I'm also 6'2", and ride a 60cm road bike (for sale elsewhere on the site - shameless plug ) that fits me very well - even more so after I was properly fit to it - but my new P2 is a 58. With the right number of headset spacers and a bit of seat/bar adjustment, I spent a bit of time on a size 56 P2 and while not optimal (better to have the right head tube length than a shorter head tube with a tall stack of spacers ) that worked for me, too.
