First,  Thanks for the suggestions on finding reasonably priced clothing.  I went to Performance today for a pair of bike shorts.  The were on sale ($25).  I tried on the XL and they were TOO BIG!

Yeah I've lost weight, but I figured I would still need to get that size.  I mean I'm 5'7" and weighed in at 223lb this morning.  Even the Large fit good.  Just a little loose in the legs, but they will work great for training.

Could it be possible?  When I get my gear for my first tri next spring, I'll be a clydesdale that can wear a medium?

Not to burst your bubble (cause mine got burst the same way)

Performance brand gear has 'normal people' sizes.  Bike clothing (name brands) are made to fit tiny tiny tiny french men.

LOL!  I wear a L in Performance brand shorts.

My BT shorts are a 3XL(womens).  My BT top is a XXL(womens).  Yeah, nothing makes me feel fatter than to look at that 3XL label.  *sigh*

You didn't burst it.  I did my swimming today and put in 3/4 mile and wasn't feeling whipped!

So I might have to get large or XL (I was thinking of getting BT anyway).  Depending on the brand, I wear from Large up to XXL.  I've got eight more months of training to go.  Who knows what can happen by then.

Yeah for me I will always be in an xl or xxl. Its mostly my height but I wore a large it would look like a sleeveless. I am noticing the weight is dropping as well. I have no doubt you will make it in 8 months with plenty of time to spare. I am also hoping to make that sunday swim class. I am struggling with it still. I got the total immersion video and book now as well.

Hope to see you there.  I'm the slowest one in the class, but they are all helpful and encouraging.  That's why I keep going to it.  That and the price is really reasonable.  (I'm a pretty cheap, you know what!).
