Finally got to sign up. This is one of the only races I can leave from home and attend. We'll see if I do better than the Tri last June.

Good Luck To all. I've created a Race Route Map in the Texas Map Section. Looks pretty flat campared to my training routes LOL..Laughing

Hi there! I'll be doing this tri too. I drove the bike and run course on Thursday. There's a decent hill on the way out after you cross University and turn onto the main portion of the bike ride and another as you as you pass under the Loop 288 bridge. Otherwise, it is long, rolling hills. The last portion is downhill..yay. I sucko mucho on the bike, so having to ride over a fire ant mound, might as well be Mount Everest. The run course is fairly flat- nothing to be concerned about there- other than the heat. Looks like this cool front will be gone by then!

Don't forget about packet pick-up.. It's on Thursday in Grapevine or out in Mckinney on Saturday!

I don't know if we're running north or south on Bell, but there's a big hill just south of University on that road. The top of the hill is at University and ends at the southern end of TWU campus.

The wind normally blows north, so expect a tailwind out and headwind back on the bike.

Hi there, comp
Picked up my packet yesterday... I'm #104. The DSU folks said there were a little over 300 competitors. Anyone else?

Hope everyone met their personal times or set PR. The race for me went way better than the last one. One more sprint before the Olympic Lenght the finish off the season.
