I've been riding by myself and want to find out what group rides anyone in FW does that are actually in FW. I don't have the time to drive out to Flower Mound, or further east, to ride. I'm on Boat Club Road right by Eagle Mountain Lake, if anyone else is nearby. I didn't find anyone when I searched by location. I want to ride with a group, but wanted to see what groups you use so I could ride with some BT'ers.

Thanks!

I lived in Saginaw for a few years and was in the same boat as you.  I ended up riding with the Carrollton Cycling Club.  It wasn't ideal, but at least I wasn't riding by myself!

Carrollton Cycling Club

The drive was about 30 minutes, but you end up riding with a lot of other riders (15 to 30+!!).  They've got great leadership and are pretty darn understanding of new riders.  Checking out their site, they've got a Monday ride that is a no-drop ride (13mph average), a Wednesday ride that's a little more challenging (16mph average), as well as Saturday and Sunday rides.

I ride at Texas Motor Speedway very often and ride on the Trinity Trail.  You are more than welcome to ride with me and my friends! We are always looking for more people to ride with.

There are several small groups that start out of the Benbrook Y off of 377/Winscott.  There is also an ows group on Wed that swim/bike.

Look into TriCowtown.  They don't have official club rides or anything like that, but people often post times to get together for rides or swims on the forum.  I work in Irving, so getting back to FW by 5:30 or 6 to start from the Benbrook Y or Trinity Trail isn't feasible, but would be a good option.
