Subject: shoes ?
Currently have Pearl Iz's with a wheel on the side to cinch down a lace... it's a really cool idea if time isn't important.  But as we are racing and all...

I'm looking at either:

A:  Louis Garneau Tri Air Compo $169.99

B: Shimano SH-TR51 Triathlon Shoe  $199.99

The 30 bones doesn't bother me at all, I just included the price.

So if You had to choose, which would you, and why?
Or if you would go with something completly different... why?

Thanks!

I have the Shimanos and they are great.
I have big feet and need quite a wide toe area so lots of shoes are too narrow for me but these are perfect. Not cheap but quality never is

are tri shoes really worth it? i'm getting ready to purchase new pedals for my bike, and am decided whether or not to have running and biking shoes, or just spend a little extra for the 2 in 1...

I like the Shimanos.  I went with Bontrager RXL (flashy silver/chrome look), they did not have the 51s in stock when I wanted to buy shoes, but they felt very close for fit.
