Subject: Treadmills
We are in the market for a treadmill. I prefer the outdoors in the winter until a certain temperature. Then I bite the bullet and head indoors.
But for the bride, it's difficult for her to get outside during the day sometimes, and she thinks she can get some miles in with the girls playing downstairs. I have been looking around and the market is so all over the map. $200-$6000.
We are looking roughly around the 1.5K mark. Would love a higher end used one..but would settle for a newer middle of the road.
Any suggestions..I am a 6' 200lb guy so I need a good sturdy one.
Thanks

check if you have a second swing fitness by you... they often times sell used health-club quality treadmills, when health-clubs upgrade...

Sole F80.  $1,500.  Great machine, I love mine.  Well, as much as you can love a treadmill.  Always gets top notch reviews with very few complaints.  Good warranty, though nobody seems to comment about the service.  I took that as a good thing.

Last year I bought a Vision T9200 and love it.  It's super quiet, comes with some great programs, 12% incline, 12 mph speed.  It cost me just over 1500.  Definately worth every penny.

I bought a Vision T9600 about 4 years ago off the floor, paid around 1700 if I remember correctly, demo model, and have not had one issue, my wife runs about 30-35 miles a week on it.  I have used it as well, but only in the winter season, 6 ft 215 lbs. Extremely happy, super strong deck, no bounce or flex. We had a folding model before that, will never do that again, saves space, but lacks the stiffness and quality of a fixed deck.
