Subject: Garmin 305 trouble
My wifes Garmin stopped working the other day. Wont turn on or take a charge. I bought it in Feb from amazon new not refurbished. Never dropped or used in water. Anyone have a suggestion?

you can reset the unit... google 305 reset.. simultaneous power, start button for 3 seconds I think... there are some other threads covering this in BT...

Yeah give that a try and if it still doesn't work...call Garmin's customer service and tell them what is up...more than likely they will have you try the same thing...and when it doesn't work, they will have you send it in and they will send you a brand new one. Mine screwed up like that once...i bought mine off of Amazon as well...and they just sent me a new one and haven't had any trouble since. :D

I had a problem like this a little while ago as well... Even though it looks like you got it working again I would make sure to stay current with the software updates from the Garmin website.
