How to track duplicate items in the equipment tracker

Question - How do I track multiple, duplicate items. For example - 2 pairs of Asics Nimbus Gel 11. I rotate between them. The equipment tracker is forcing me to call them the same thing. If I do this I am going to lose track of which one is A vs. B. The equipment tracker gives me the option of adding a new product, but I do not think BT would want me (or others) to customize entries in the equipment tracker - this would lead to an explosion of entries and defeat the purpose.

That being said, that is exactly what I want: I would like to have 'Asics Nimbus Gel 11-A' and 'Asics Nimbus Gel 11-B' in my equipment tracker.
