Subject: Rider hit near Golden Ears Bridge
Hi Everyone,

I just heard someone recently got hit riding through the traffic circles by the Golden Ears Bridge on the Pitt Meadows side. Does anyone have any info about this? Hate to hear when this happens but also interested to find out why it happened.

I saw him getting taken away in an ambulance on Friday morning May 14th, probably 7:15am. His bike was on the side of the road, didn't get a good look, but it was a Kuota road bike. That's about all I know.

Not sure what happened but I hope he's doing okay now. (I was referring to him as a male, but for all I know could be a female too)

Just read in the local paper it was a 60 year old Port Moody resident. He was taken to the hospital for sever bruises. That's about all it said.....
