Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I'm trying to clean this up and I can't figure out how to have data or tables side by side. They either fill up the whole dashboard from left to right, or if they are small/narrow, I can only keep adding new ones below, which results in the entire right half being blank and a really long dashboard. I have read through your instructions several times, but am just not grasping it. ![]() Thanks. |

Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I'm not really sure what kind of tables I want; but I like the way SSMinnow's dashboard looks and she has stuff side by side; and there are some people who have Short Term Goals on the left and Long Term Goals on the right. Also, I was playing around with caloric expenditure and it is cool, but the calculations are a fair bit off my actual expenditures based on my RMR, so I want to turn it off and can't seem to do it. Thanks. ![]() |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Short/Long term goals are those people who haven't updated the dashboard since we updated it. What you can do is to request the tables of ssminnows in html...then paste that via the 'html' button in your editor and redo to your text. Or I can if you forward me her permission. Regarding calories burned...you can turn it off by going to 'settings --> training log settings --> log defaults' and you will see a calories area at the bottom...get rid of sex, activity level, weight, b-day to turn it off. BUT...can you give me some more info on the 'fair bit off' comment? I see that you DON'T have 'year, height, weight, activity level, avg hours slept' configured (only your sex) in the above log defaults...this could be leading to your around 700calories daily expenditure (it needs those defaults)...which indicates you shouldn't be of this world. ![]() |

Have to check with Suzie yet on the using her tables. Re the Calorie data, I actually did have the year, height, weight, etc. in but when the numbers were off, I deleted them but couldn't get rid of the 'activity level'. I put them back in this morning and 'simulated' 2 different rides I did - one December 2nd and one December 16th. I picked an activity level that gave me the number of lifestyle calories that was the closest to what I know is correct based on my RMR testing. The total is under by 36 calories so that is pretty close. I'm thinking the calories don't calculate correctly on my runs and bikes because HR needs to figure into the forumla. I simulated 2 rides I did on December 2nd and 16th to see what BT calculates and what the actual was. My actual # comes from my HR monitor which I verify back to my LT testing results to ensure the HR monitor is accurate. Dec. 2nd - BT calculates 956 when I actually only burned 735 calories at 40% fat calories, because it was any easy ride for me with an avg HR of 123 and max at 141. Avg. speed on bike was 32.56km/hr for 1hr 26m 37sec. Dec. 16th - BT calculates oly 611 calories when I actually burned 858 calories at 30% fat, because it was a much harder ride for me with avg. HR at 133 and Max at 151. Av. speed on bike was 31.42k/hr for 1hr 28m 37sec. These are Computrainer rides with the bike calibrated in a coached session. Hope this helps. |
