Subject:OSHA requirements
While your out training this weekend here's something to ponder. How funny would this sport be if OSHA instituted guidelines for the safety of triathlons. What would your recommendations be, ie pfd's for the swim. Looking for a little humor here so keep it lightened up.
BTW be glad you don't get all the government you pay for.
Oh how cool! Wouldn't it be great if the gov't told me I had to get off my bike and walk up steep hills? Or that running is inherently dangerous, and I should just walk?
Even worse, imagine if the DOT imposed their regulations on your bicycle.
1. 3 point safety belt system
2. 5 mph front and rear impact bumpers
3. Full coverage fenders, no open wheel vehicles
4. Automatically deployed air bags, complete with crash sensors
5. More efficient brakes
6. Lights and directional signals
That would take some heavy duty racks in transition!
