I am having trouble finding luxury hotels in Panama City Beach. Can anyone give me a little help and a few suggestions. It seems that all the hotels there are geared toward the "poor college spring breaker".

Hey Buddy,

You are right about the spring break crowd but new condo's are sprouting up everywhere. We have stayed in 2 condo's but they were older and not luxury. When we were there in May there were a couple of great looking new condo's that looked open or about to open. I suggest call a real estate company that does rentals and ask them about luxury condos. I don't know how long your planning on staying but most condo's require a 3 day stay.

Just Friday and Saturday night. This is proving to be more difficult than expected.

May not be what you are looking for, but when traveling for tris, I go to www.vrbo.com (Vacation Rentals by Owner). It's not the 'best' hotel in town, but it's normally way above average, and quiet. In any case, that website has stuff everywhere. The price ranges can vary. In any case, Good luck!
