Master  1462    Michigan |  Subject: Never ForgetJust completed 110 flights of stairs, the same amount in the World Trade Centers. Full gear it took me 30 min. Whew it was hot. Though four years have passed everytime I go on shift I remember what happened that day, 343 fellow fighters perished. God Bless their families. BTW the money raised goes to the victims childrens scholarships fund. |

Master 1462 Michigan | Subject: RE: Never Forget In all honesty I am just doing a job. I enjoy helping people and I love my job. Will I ever become a millionaire? No not even close. Will I live comfortably and enjoy my life, get to train and have a great work schedule? Yes. As with every occupation there are trade off's, pros and cons but when the day is done I feel better about my purpose in life if I made a difference in someones life. |
